Introduction

We are committed to respecting your privacy. This notice is to explain how we may use personal information we collect before, during and after your membership with us. It applies to you if you have registered to become or are a member of our club. It explains how we comply with the law on data protection and your rights. For the purposes of data protection we will be the controller of any of your personal information

What we collect

Depending on your relationship with us, we may collect information like:
Name and surname
Date of Birth
Address
Phone numbers
Email address

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information to administer your membership and to provide the sporting services you have requested from us and provide you with a good service across the following reasons:
To administer your membership and for Internal record keeping.
Sending subscription notices to you.
Recording financial transactions about your membership.
Contacting you with relevant club correspondence.
Maintaining a record of any competitions you play in.

Generally, we will keep your personal information on our club membership database for the duration of your membership, but we may need to keep it longer in compliance with other regulations or laws.
Your personal information is held on secure servers. Warlingham Cricket Club complies with all applicable Data Protection Law.

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this policy and will notify you accordingly.
This policy is effective from 25/05/2018.

Under the General Data Protection Regulations, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you think there is a problem in the way your data is being handled.
The full Privacy Policy can be seen on the clubhouse notice board. You have the right to demand a copy of the data we hold for you at any time subject to the terms of the GDPR regulations.
We will only use your data to enable the sports that we provide. It will not under any circumstances be transferred outside Warlingham Sports Club. It may be transferred within the club to allow us to advise you of upcoming events and changes in rules or policy.

We understand safeguarding to be essential in creating a culture which helps direct the game and the way the game interacts with children as participants in cricket, be this as players, coaches, officials, spectators or volunteers.
